Free Italian Meals to be Given Away at Downtown Summerlin

One thousand warm Italian meals will be handed out for free at Grape Street Café in Downtown Summerlin, beginning at 4 p.m. Friday, March 27. The food will be distributed curbside in compliance with all CDC regulations. Those receiving the boxed meals must remain in their vehicles. The effort is presented by “The Real Estate Guy” Aaron Taylor and Grape Street Cafe with the support of Mariana’s Supermarkets, IIS Benefit Administrators and NV Energy. “This is just something special we wanted to do for the community,” says Taylor. They will also give away 1,000 $20 gift cards to Grape Street, 1,000 $10 Mariana’s Supermarkets gift cards, $10 Smith’s gift cards and “several hundred gas cards.” Grape Street Café is at 2120 Festival Plaza Road near the center of the Downtown Summerlin retail complex. The dining room remains closed during the 30-day statewide shutdown of non-essential Nevada businesses to help fend off the COVID-19 pandemic.
