Hideki Matsuyama has an amazing Japanese-inspired Champions Dinner menu at 2022 Masters

Japan’s Hideki Matsuyama will serve up food from his house state at the 2022 Masters Champions Dinner on Tuesday night.
As defending champion, Matsuyama will get to pick the menu that normally incorporates delicacies from the winner’s dwelling country. Attendees at the special supper contain recipients of the famed environmentally friendly jacket.
The event unveiled the menu on Twitter Tuesday, stating it was in honor of Matsuyama, “Japan’s very first champion.”

His menu will get started out with assorted appetizers, like sushi, sashimi, Yakitori rooster skewers and nigiri, a delicacy consisting of sliced uncooked fish that is positioned over sweet and salty vinegared rice.
The initial course is Miso glazed black cod with a dashi broth.
The main training course is Miyazaki Wagyu — A5 Wagyu beef ribeye with mixed mushrooms and veggies and Sansho daikon ponzu sauce.
For dessert, there will be a Japanese strawberry shortcake — a fluffy sponge cake with whipped product and Amaou strawberries.

“I am seriously wanting ahead to the Champions supper tonight,” Matsuyama instructed reporters.

His menu is a striking distinction to that of Tiger Woods, who in 1998 — immediately after successful his initially Masters — asked for cheeseburgers, grilled rooster sandwiches, french fries and milkshakes.

“They claimed you could pick nearly anything you want,” Woods reported at the time, according to the Los Angeles Instances. “This is what I grew up having, and which is what I however am eating. It is what I like to eat.”
In 2014, Australian Adam Scott served Moreton Bay lobster, and the 2004 menu of Canadian Mike Weir bundled a roasted rack of elk.
