The Richardson mayor’s summertime internship system is gathering donations for child-friendly treats for the “Healthy Young children Snack Drive” now by way of Aug. 5.
Healthier snacks items desired for donation include things like fruit cups, cereal cups, oatmeal cups, apple sauce, juice boxes, macaroni and cheese cups and soup cups.
The snack push is arranged by large college interns in the software and will profit family members in require. The merchandise will be distributed at the Richardson ISD “Backpack Bash” on Aug. 7 at Richardson Significant College. Any leftover objects will be dispersed to location youngsters served by the Network of Group Ministries.
