NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — In an orderly manner, children at the Kirkpatrick Neighborhood Centre are learning the fundamental principles of meal prepping.
Lessons protect every thing from cleanliness to safe and sound knife managing tactics.
“We want to equip children with diverse versions of wholesome greens and fruits and which is what we want to introduce to this software,” Tiffanie Fletcher, program coordinator for the middle, mentioned.
About 200 students in under-served communities will be equipped to get pleasure from the absolutely free classes. Fletcher stated the funding comes from the federally sponsored Boy or girl and Adult Care Food items System.
