SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — The presidents of South Korea and Indonesia agreed Thursday to raise their bilateral cooperation on source chains, financial protection and defense.
Indonesian President Joko Widodo arrived in South Korea on Wednesday as part of a regional vacation that by now took him to China and Japan.
During a joint push meeting with Widodo, South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol claimed the two shared issues about North Korea’s nuclear and missile threats and agreed to assist a concerted worldwide reaction to the North’s weapons programs. He did not elaborate.
