Singapore Starts Importing Rooster From Indonesia, 1st Cargo To Arrive On 15 Jul
Singapore authorities have always ensured that our food items source is protected by importing from diverse sources.

Back in June, the Singapore Foods Company (SFA) declared the acceptance of Indonesia as an substitute source of rooster.

Hen cargo departs Indonesia on 13 Jul
Starting from Wednesday (13 Jul) night, Indonesia will begin providing frozen hen to Singapore.
Up to 50,000kg of frozen hen from poultry firm CPI will depart from Tanjung Priok port in North Jakarta.
ST described that the cargo is probably to arrive in Singapore on Friday (15 Jul) and will be dealt with by Crown Pacific Beverage.
CPI expects to provide 1,000 tonnes of frozen rooster to Singapore all through this calendar year.

This news comes after SFA authorised Indonesia as a new supply of frozen, chilled, and processed chicken meat on 30 Jun.
